The family home for the last 25 years, Mum and Dad were after some additional living space where they could enjoy the garden and host larger family gatherings. Located to the rear of the property the ‘garden room’ adds to the existing family room and dining room to form a sequence of living spaces that link the front of the house to the garden. These spaces can be closed off for different activities or opened up to form one continuous space.

On warm summer days two walls of the garden room can fully fold back to form a covered outdoor seating area, while when closed the space created offers a bright, light filled spot to read the Sunday paper or enjoy a cup of tea.
